This event was held on 7 October 2020, via Zoom. This was the inaugural edition of the Mushroom Science Virtual series, which gained immense support despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic during the timeframe of the event. Plenary and oral speakers from 5 countries pitched in and contributed to the success of this event, showing the enthusiasm of the researchers towards mushroom science. Members of MMRG greatly contributed to the success of this event, gaining the support of researchers from several countries.
